The traditional recommendation for graphical material is:
But for blank-and-white text our archivist, says:
- use acid-free 100% cotton rag 24# weight paper
- use an inkjet printer with pigment based ink, not dye-based ink
- Laser printing is recognized as more permanent than inkjet for
your basic black & white text.
The conclusion is that for text, either is ok. The critical factor is
